Amanda always knew she wanted to be in profession to help heal people on the inside and out, so she started her journey by becoming certified in Reiki in 2006. She went on to graduate from the pre-health program at Fanshawe College in 2011 to continue on with the cardiovascular technology course.
In 2013, Amanda graduated from Mohawk college and worked in the field for 6 years when she decided to return to learning. She became certified by the Ontario College of Reflexologists in 2019 then continued her education in the Trios College Massage Therapy Program. Graduating in 2022, Amanda practices using a variety of techniques including Swedish massage, hydrotherapy, trigger point and Golgi tendon organ release, fascial release, frictions, joint play, intramural work, and stretching. She also stresses the importance of home care, providing guidance to heal old injuries and preventing new ones.
Amanda is also a medical aesthetician that has been practicing since 2019 with techniques including laser hair removal, skin resurfacing and sun spot treatments, radio frequency cellulite removal, skin tightening and wrinkle repair, and micro dermal needling.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoy time with her family and friends as well as travelling and playing sports.
Amanda is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
