Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Medicine is a form of healthcare that focuses on identifying the root cause of health issues and minimizing symptoms along the way. Not all humans are created exactly the same, so it doesn’t make sense for your health care to be the same either. The goal is to identify and target ailments with individualized treatment plans through the use of more natural methods that include but are not limited to nutrition, lifestyle changes, acupuncture, botanical medicine and appropriate supplementation.

A large portion of what Naturopathic Doctor’s do is educating patients on the pillars of health. This encompasses areas such as stress management, adequate sleep, proper nutrition and exercise. This can empower individuals to take back the control over their health and stop just “living with it.”

Naturopathic doctors are educated to be primary care providers and go through extensive training on properly diagnosing and treating a vast range of health conditions. Ensuring the safety of patients and effectiveness of treatment methods are of the utmost importance. The use of evidence-based research is fundamental in the treatment process and staying up-to-date with current findings is a priority.
