Dr. Ryan Jenken, DC
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Ryan Jenken grew up on a dairy farm just outside of Lucan, Ontario and has been involved in various sports and events in the community from a young age. Dr. Jenken attended the University of Waterloo, completing his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2016. He then completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Dr. Jenken takes an evidence-based approach to patient care and emphasizes the importance of active patient engagement in their health. Typical treatments with Dr. Jenken consist of education, functional assessments, manual therapy techniques (including adjustments), and rehabilitative exercises. He has training in instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy (IASTT), advanced functional rehab (Functional Range Conditioning) and is eager to begin his acupuncture training in the fall. Dr. Jenken believes that anyone can benefit from chiropractic care and looks forward to working with patients from all walks of life.
Outside of clinic, Dr. Jenken has been involved in ice hockey officiating for over 10 years, and he recently spent time refereeing in the American Hockey League. He is currently a referee in the Ontario Hockey League and is excited for return to play in the fall. In his spare time, Dr. Jenken enjoys running, cycling, hiking, playing cards, helping on the farm, participating in recreational hockey and baseball, and spending time with friends and family.
